Sony DADC Brasil succeeded in 2005, establishing itself as the company's digital media manufacturing facility in Brazil. Sony Music Manaus was established in 1997, and from 1998 onwards, it took over all CD and DVD manufacturing - including the glass master and stamper production laboratory - which had previously been made in Rio de Janeiro at the Acari plant (see and ). In mid-2018, Sony DADC Brasil plant was incorporated by . Registration code CNPJ 07.305.913/0001-65 . The company's registration date was April 7, 2005, so no releases mentioning the code can be dated earlier than that.
