Regency Media was an Australian optical disc manufacturer formed in 2006 when acquired AAV's 51% interest in , giving them 100% ownership of the company. The company installed a Blu-ray replication line in 2010. In January 2008, the company entered a joint venture with Indian Saregama Ltd to manufacture VCDs and DVDs under a newly-formed company called Saregama Regency Optimedia. In 2010, Regency Media acquired and resurrected the recently bankrupted . As of 2011 Regency Media was headquartered in the suburb of Kew in Melbourne, with two manufacturing plants: · Northmead, NSW - CD, DVD, and Blu-ray disc manufacturing · Braeside, VIC - CD and DVD manufacturing The company went into administration in February 2023. Matrix numbers: Regency Media discs usually have a matrix number in the form #####.# or ######.#, which may be entered in LCCN as the Regency Media catalogue number.
