A record company founded by actor Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman. Its name was taken from the Hanks-directed film That Thing You Do! where it was the label that the group in the film was signed to. It was initially distributed by Sony Music Entertainment through Epic mainly and in some cases like the soundtrack to the TV series The Sopranos on Columbia. The label is now distributed by Rhino Entertainment Company as of 2007.
