About

Mexican label founded in 1933 by Gustavo Klinckwort and Eduardo Baptista, is firmly established as one of Mexico's leading independent labels with a wide range of successful local language signings. Records were originally produced by Fabrica De Discos Peerless, S. de R. L. and distributed by Eduardo Baptista y Cía. S. de R. L. In 1947, the owners parted ways, and Eduardo Baptista reincorporated the company as Fabrica De Discos Peerless, S.A.. In the 1990s, the company name was changed to Fabrica De Discos Peerless, S.A.
