UK label. (Some logos are PRT Records) Label Code: LC 7140 / LC 07140 Formerly known as Pye Records. When the rights to the Pye name expired, the label changed its name in September 1980 to PRT (Precision Records and Tapes). The back catalog was acquired in 1990 by Castle Communications which itself was subsequently purchased by Universal Music Group unit Sanctuary Records but following Universal's acquisition of EMI Group's US and selected international interests and Virgin Records Ltd, the corporation had to sell-off some of its assets. As such, the Sanctuary Records catalogue was purchased by BMG Rights Management UK. Also, see .
