German label Label Code: LC 8847 / LC 08847 Started in 1984 by , Minor Music has been regarded fom the very beginning as an innovative label nurtering young talent and starting new careers for underexposed mature artists. Artists like Geri Allen, Bill Frisell, Larry Goldings, Karl Denson, Till Brönner, Tuey Connell stand for the former and Maceo Parker, Fred Wesley, Pee Wee Ellis and Oscar Brown Jr for the latter. At the same token Minor Music was always able to create new trends. In the eighties many artists who were to be discovered by a larger audience years later did their groundbreaking work documented by Minor Music.
