Kick Music was one of the bigger Danish record labels in the late 1990's and the 2000's, with distribution of it's artists in the US and a range of Asian and European countries and a range of sub-labels like Service Records (2), Spark Musik, E.S.P. Recordings and Blix Street Records. It was founded as an independent record company in 1990 by Poul Hansen and Michael Quvang and taken over by Sony Music Entertainment Denmark A/S in 2008.
