Jack Trax (Indigo Music) was formed by Damon D'Cruz in May 1987, with Robin King (2) in A&R. Robin King then left and was replaced by Tim Raidl. Jack Trax released the 'Jack Trax' compilation albums in the UK, featuring licensed material mainly from the USA. The more popular tracks were also released as 12" singles. These compilations provided a convenient way to acquire hard to find/expensive House imports in the latter half of the 1980s. The first releases were in July 1987. Jack Trax closed in 1992. Tim Raidl went on to become part of Hardcore Rhythm Team, and some disco remixes in Europe in the nineties.
