Editorial General Sociedad Anónima (Edigsa) Formally founded May 29th 1961. Closed in December 1983. Impuesto de lujo 6503. Spanish label from Catalonia from the 60s-70s founded by Josep Espar i Ticó, Claudi Martí, Ermengol Passola and Enric Cirici, specialized in Catalan music - mainly songwriters -, having started first as a series from (from San Sebastian/Spain), and named . In 1964 Ermengol Passola and Josep Maria Espinàs left the label to launch a new label with the same goal. Edigsa released records licensed from labels such , and for some years. At the end of 1983 Edigsa, owing to some legal problems, was renamed , and is currently managed by since 2007.
