Record company behind the label . Operating from the 11th Apr 1990. It was originally a joint venture with BMG, with U.S. operations handled by Arista's sibling company RCA. In July 1994 Arista took over its U.S. handling, and it became wholly owned by BMG U.K. in May 1998.
