Canadian record company founded by Jeff Smith (32) in 1977 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sounds Interchange Ltd. See also Change Records Inc.. Bob Johnston was national promo director. Most early material was produced by John James Stewart who headed Sound Interchange's production company Inter-Productions. Initial distribution was handled by Polydor Ltd. (2) but in early 1980 switched to MCA Records (Canada). Sold to Syd Kessler's Kessler Music Corp. in 1980 along with Sounds Interchange.
