Ardeck is a label set up by The Undertones. It never operated as a real label, but has always been an imprint. The label was formed in 1981 after the band had left Sire Records -with the rights to all their songs- and signed a worldwide licensing deal with EMI. Between 1981 and 1993 The Undertones were signed with EMI who released the band’s records on Ardeck. Most recently The Undertones’ catalogue was licensed to Union Square Music.
