Peter Griesar

Peter Griesar is a keyboardist and composer who gained recognition as an early member of Dave Matthews Band during the group’s formative years in the early 1990s. As part of the band’s original lineup, Griesar contributed keyboard arrangements to their initial live recordings before departing to establish his own solo career.

Following his time with DMB, Griesar has pursued independent projects, focusing on keyboard composition and production work. His contributions to the band’s early sound helped shape their distinctive instrumental approach during a pivotal moment in their development.
