Obey the Brave, a powerful force in the Canadian hardcore punk scene, emerged from Montreal and Ottawa in 2012. Fronted by Alex Erian, formerly of Despised Icon, and backed by musicians from Blind Witness and other notable acts, the band quickly carved a niche for themselves with their ferocious blend of hardcore punk and metalcore. Within months of their formation, Obey the Brave caught the attention of the iconic Good Fight label, leading to the release of their debut EP, "Ups And Downs," in 2012. Their momentum didn't stop there; they soon joined the ranks of Epitaph Records, under which they released their explosive debut album "Young Blood" in the same year.
Their discography expanded with the addition of "Salvation" in 2014, "Mad Season" in 2017, and "Balance" in 2019, each album showcasing the band's evolution while staying true to their aggressive sound and energetic performances.
