Matt Kadane is an American musician and producer best known for his work as guitarist, songwriter, and vocalist across multiple indie rock and alternative projects spanning three decades. As one half of the brother duo with Bubba Kadane, he co-founded the influential post-rock band Bedhead, which released three critically acclaimed studio albums before disbanding. The pair later reformed as The New Year in 2001, continuing their exploration of atmospheric, guitar-driven alternative rock.
In 2012, Kadane expanded his creative circle by co-founding Overseas alongside David Bazan and Will Johnson, further establishing his reputation as a versatile collaborator in the indie music landscape.
