Bodychoke

Bodychoke was a UK experimental noise project active from 1993 to 1999, operating as a parallel venture to the power electronics outfit Sutcliffe Jugend. The group carved out a distinctive space within the industrial and experimental music landscape, blending abrasive sonic textures with provocative thematic content that pushed the boundaries of noise-based composition.

The project's discography includes four studio albums, with their 1994 debut *Mindshaft*—produced by renowned psychedelic dub innovator Ott—establishing their uncompromising aesthetic. Their later album *Five Prostitutes*, helmed by acclaimed engineer Steve Albini, further cemented their reputation for sonically challenging and conceptually bold work.
