About

Petitmoni V was a Japanese pop revival unit that operated from 2009 to 2011, bringing together vocalists Saki Nakajima, Mai Hagiwara, and Erina Mano under the banner of Hello! Project. The group's name, standing for "Petitmoni Victor," positioned them as a nostalgic continuation of the original Petitmoni's upbeat, dance-oriented pop sound that characterized early 2000s Japanese electronic pop.

The unit contributed to Hello! Project's catalog of infectious, synth-driven J-pop during their active period, performing energetic vocal arrangements over electronic production. Though their run was brief, Petitmoni V reunited in 2013 for Hello! Project's 15th anniversary tour, reaffirming their place in the project's legacy of accessible, radio-friendly electronic pop music.
