About
# T-Quest
Belgian electronic music pioneer T-Quest (Stefaan Vandenberghe) draws inspiration from synthesizer legends like Kraftwerk and Fad Gadget, channeling those influences through the lens of New Beat and acid house. Beginning his career in the early 90s as a radio DJ hosting the influential "Behind The Beat" program, T-Quest quickly became a tastemaker and A&R force, shaping the sound of Music Man Records with its distinctive visual identity while signing boundary-pushing artists including Secret Cinema, Metro Dade, Steve Rachmad, and Green Velvet.
As both a producer and DJ, T-Quest has left his mark across Belgium's premier techno venues—Food and Cherry Moon—and international clubs including Limelight (New York), Rex (Paris), and The End (London). His studio work includes the collaborative track "Play" with Frank De Wulf on R&S Records and the critically acclaimed "Upiter" (1996), later reissued on Music Man with remixes from Steve Rachmad and Bandulu. Since 2001, T-Quest has maintained a residency at Fuse, continuing to champion forward-thinking electronic music.
