A Camp

A Camp is an experimental pop and electronic project founded by Nina Persson (The Cardigans), composer Nathan Larson, and guitarist Niclas Frisk. Emerging from New York, the collective blends indie sensibilities with electronic production, creating a distinctive sound that bridges alternative pop and electronic music. The project materialized during The Cardigans' hiatus, allowing Persson to explore more experimental sonic territories beyond her primary band’s work.

The group released two studio albums—their self-titled debut in 2001 and *Coming Home* in 2009—both showcasing intricate electronic arrangements and Persson’s distinctive vocal approach. While A Camp has remained largely inactive since 2009, their work represents a notable chapter in early-2000s electronic pop, offering a sophisticated counterpoint to mainstream electronic music of the era.
