About
Transitioning from his role as bassist for Boston groove outfit Three Colors in the late '80s, Hub Moore relocated to New York and established himself as a solo artist and bandleader. Throughout the '90s, he fronted the Great Outdoors while simultaneously composing original scores, demonstrating a versatile approach to music composition across multiple mediums.
Moore’s 1998 debut album *HUB*, released on Slash/London, introduced his bluesy pop sensibility to wider audiences. The standout single “Evil Twin” gained significant traction on alternative radio formats in Boston and New York, establishing Moore as a distinctive voice in the '90s indie music landscape.
