Guillaume Gillain

Belgian guitarist Guillaume Gillain brings a sophisticated jazz sensibility to his musical projects. Based in Liège, Gillain has developed his craft through rigorous training at Belgium’s premier music institutions, including the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, where he studied jazz guitar under respected mentors. His technical proficiency and collaborative spirit have made him a sought-after musician within Belgium’s jazz and contemporary music scenes.

Gillain’s project work includes co-founding the ensemble 4 of Kind with Maxime Moyaerts, which earned recognition at the Comblain-la-tour competition. He remains active as a guitarist and vocalist with The Morning Call and as a session musician with the Pauline Leblond Double Quartet, contributing to Belgium’s vibrant live music community through both original compositions and collaborative performances.
