Spanish keyboardist and founding member of Alameda, Marinelli has been a fixture in Iberian progressive and electronic music since the early 1970s. His work spans from the progressive rock era through to electronic experimentation, establishing himself as a versatile musician across multiple projects and decades.
Marinelli's career began with the short-lived progressive outfit Gong in 1971, contributing keyboard work to their sole Polydor release "A Leadbelly." He later played with The Keys before the group evolved into Tartesos, refining his craft through the mid-1970s. In 1977, Marinelli founded Alameda, where he continues to develop his distinctive approach to keyboard-driven music, cementing his role as an influential figure in Spanish electronic music.
