Japanese guitarist and vocalist best known as the founder and original member of progressive rock outfit Pageant. After departing the band in 1987, 中嶋一晃 continued performing and collaborating within Japan's underground music scene, contributing to various projects that explored experimental and progressive sounds throughout the 1990s and 2000s.
In the late 2000s, 中嶋一晃 reunited with fellow musicians to form Go To Hong Kong, a project celebrating Pageant's legacy while pushing into new creative territories alongside keyboardist Hiroki Matsui and vocalist Kenji Morikawa. His work spans progressive rock and experimental music, maintaining an active presence in Japan's alternative music community.
