SISTAR19 is a South Korean electronic music duo comprising Bora and Hyolyn, operating as a sub-unit within the broader Sistar project. Debuting in May 2011 with the digital single “Ma Boy,” the pair established themselves as innovators in the K-pop electronic and dance sphere, blending synth-driven production with vocal-centric arrangements that defined early 2010s Korean pop aesthetics.

The duo achieved their breakthrough with “Gone Not Around Any Longer” (2013), the title track from their sole EP. The single showcased their signature sound—layered electronic production, infectious hooks, and dynamic vocal interplay—cementing their influence in Korean dance music. Released through Starship Entertainment, their work contributed significantly to the evolution of electronic-influenced K-pop during the early 2010s.
