Brazilian percussionist and drummer who has been a driving force in Brazil's alternative and electronic music scenes since the early 1990s. Bacalhau co-founded the influential band Acabou La Tequila in 1991, establishing himself as a creative force in the country's underground music community. He later became known for his work with Planet Hemp (1993-1998), where his rhythmic foundation helped shape the group's experimental sound.
From 1998 to 2015, Bacalhau was a core member of Autoramas, contributing his distinctive percussion style to the band's innovative approach to electronic and alternative music. His work across these projects has made him a respected figure in Brazil's electronic and experimental music landscape.
