Tjens Couter

Tjens Couter emerged from the Belgian music scene in the mid-1970s, forming after an initial project in 1972. The group released their debut single in 1975 and expanded to a full band configuration by 1977 with the addition of bass and drums, briefly operating as Tjens Couter and the T.C. Band. Though the lineup proved fluid, with changes occurring within months of their reformation, the group established themselves as an influential force in Belgian electronic and experimental music.

The project holds significant historical importance as a direct precursor to major developments in the Belgian music landscape.
